Just a little problem I’m having. While using the M429 script, I can’t seem to use my Bhop script. Is this just a Half-Life problem, or is it just something I’m doing wrong?

Can’t run more than one loop at a time. But the boost script includes jump spam so I don’t see the problem.
You can make custom aliases so that you don’t have to release your bhop key to boost ect.
Guess it’s just something I have to get used to, oh well.
New problem, which is actually a problem this time instead of just something that’s just a pet peeve of mine. Everytime I get to the chapter “We Are Not Alone” in OP4, I CTD. No Error, No Nothing. Just CTD as soon as I push the button to go into the area where you see Gordon running into the portal.
It’s a crash that occurs in versions of OP4 before steampipe, but still steam versions.
The gcf is corrupted.
You need to play on the steampipe version, and if you don’t want to, go for a WON version (basically no steam)
There’s also another solution : Use steam’s gearbox folder, put it in NGHL, then use Yalter’s BunnyXT to remove the speed cap.
No the solution does not work thats why we used the gcf one. it says something about SDL2.dll if we use the steam version and I figured out that SDL2.dll is from the half life folder in steam so i copied that and put it in the nghl folder and it still crashes. The won version is the best way to go for speedrunning the expansion packs for half-life.
Not true, me and a bunch of others are constantly using Steam’s gearbox folder with NGHL + Bunnymod XT, I even just helped somebody else set it up about an hour ago, so there must be something going wrong in the process there. With the Steam + BunnyXT combination you get 100+ FPS advantage (probably a few other advantages too that I can’t think of right now), so it’s simply not true that the WON version is the current best method of running both OpFor + BShift.
Could you please direct me through those steps?

quick problem here. My half-life seems to be running in slow motion… qun animations, walking. Its slower than normal. Help please!
What’s fps_max set to? If you have an unstable framerate it causes the game to have a ‘slow-mo’ effect.
PJC: its at 100 stable. ive tried 250, but it didnt make a difference.
What about host_framerate? What’s that set to?
