Valve removed the _special command in the most recent updates because of some unknown reason.

So, this one should work, right?

alias jumploop pjump
alias bh "jumploop;wait"
alias pjump "+jump;alias jumploop mjump"
alias mjump "-jump;alias jumploop pjump"

Because this

This is a loop you can use for advanced, long sequences of scripting. Like a triggerdelay for example. It can’t replace the _special loop in any way.

So, I used the download links listed for older versions of HL to get them again after my hard drive failed, and now none of the scripts work except M249 autoboost and gauss boost. Duckroll is only a count jump script, the bunnyhop scripts behave exactly like only one +jump input.
I tried all the bhop scripts listed, none worked.

Your version it’s not compatible with _special loops. Which one is it?
The one from my opposing force run should work if you don’t want to change version.

alias +bh1 "fps_max 83.3333333333;alias name bhop;bhop"
alias -bh1 "fps_max 100;alias name"
alias bhop "+jump;wait;-jump;cmd name"
bind space +bh1

I downloaded the one from the torrent that was listed a page or two ago, that one doesn’t allow _special?
But that bhop script did work, but obbo and duckroll don’t work yet, they aren’t TOO important for doing a run that you don’t upload, but meh.

Hello, new runner here!
Also, i asked quad, but what he told me, didnt worked for me.

How do you runners record singlesegment runs? Do you use autorecord command in NGHL, or you guys use something different?

Thanks.

map c1a0, pause, record myss, unpause, do your ss, stop.

Welcome kERNEL.

You asked me how to play more than one map in a row. Not how to record a demo through more than one map.
By default NGHL has cl_autorecord set to 5. This cvar is meant for multiplayer only. Where you’d want one demo per map. So it’s recording from start to end of any map, including sp maps.
For singleplayer set cl_autorecord 0, and use sv_autorecord demoname. Or start recording manually like described by .Execut4ble

Any maps other than ag_loingjump2 you can add to the first post? I would like to see bunnyrace, agtrick, etc… I can’t find the original links to these…

You can find these maps on the web, at least I did. I made the longjump map myself, and I’m not sure it’s around elsewhere. That’s why it’s alone in the list.

Unfortunately there is no way to run other resolutions than the ones listed in the options. You’ll have to edit the hl.exe file in order to change it. But then you’re also able to choose *any *resolution you’d want.

ah, alright, thanks anyway

sigh
Both of these maps are berowken -_-
Cannot find DMC.wad (i guess it wants devil may cry?)
and
Couldn’t open aw_agctf.wad :\

Play them in the mod they are meant for. Or copy over the wad-files to valve folder.
DMC.wad - deathmatch classic
aw_agctf.wad - adrenaline gamer

Alright

can any of you help me get the correct version of hl? till yet i had: the normal steam version (until i figured nothing works there) then i had 1.1.2, which also didnt work properly and the 1.0.0.0 where i cant exec any of my cfgs?

Google New Gauge Half-Life Client and get it. Should be a russian website.

isnt that the same as the 1.1.2 from this thread?

I don’t know, but you can use BunnyMod Pro with it, and everything works fine. HL21 run uses NGHL.
