Scoured the internet and couldn’t find an answer so I have come here to ask, How can i run NGHL using my Nvidia GeForce GT 650M? Because at the moment its using my integrated video card, an Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Disable the integrated video card (through BIOS, probably), make sure you plugged in the Nvidia card correctly and check if it actually works.

Disable Vertical Sync (VSync) in your videocard settings, you should be able to go 60+ fps then.
Hai. When i start up half-Life won on the 1.0.0.7 patch (protocol 43) the game says that i need wonauth.dll
Is there a way to fix this?
Just google for the DLL file. Be careful and try not to catch a virus, though.

Which version did you have to begin with before the 1.1.0.7* patch?
1.0.0.0 The version in this topic. I get dll error’s. wonauth, woncrypt, steam and vgui.dll are all missing.
That’s from 1998 while the patch is from 2002. You’re missing 4 years of constant updates. You better download a version as close to 1107 as possible.
Version 1110 should be very easy to find, get that and then use the 1107 patch to downgrade.
Seeing as you have a mobile graphics card you probably have a laptop and optimus technology as well. If you don’t know what that means then it’s basically a bullshit thingy that runs some apps on nvidia and other apps on intel. You can change which apps you what that in your nvidia control panel. If you can’t find half-life in there or you can’t change it from the integrated to nvidia try doing what this post says:

Even if you unlock it like this there’s a chance that the game will just crash if you try running it on the nvidia card.

as i continued : the fps is dropping when im playing… even with or without vsync i have 35-60 fps and a lag spike ruins the bhop…

well if u call the stress test with a large map then yes i did… even with small map i have 60 fps + and then i have sudden lag spike
Did it, and now framerate is locked at 60 with V-Sync off. >:( >:( >:(

Hey guys
I have a problem with Barney, i play on NGHL.
What is happening is that when i throw grenades at him, he goes to the door without problem, but when he reach it, i can see the animation of him opening the door but the door stay closed. I don’t know what i’m doing wrong. I do a quicksave before picking the grenades.
Maybe some one had this issue before and can explain what i should do for this to stop happen.

If you load a save on a map the NPC door glitch won’t work. You have to do it from the map start.
