What engine does Synergy use?

Im new to speedrunning, and I really like to play HL2 with my friends, so I don’t die of boredom.

I would love to use these tricks in Synergy, but I have no clue what engine Synergy runs. ABH does not work, so it isnt the Orange Box Engine. Also bhopping while holding W doesnt make you gain speed.

So does anybody know what engine Synergy uses?
(PS. sorry if this is a complete noob-post, I seriously have no clue :DD)

As far as I know the ‘Synergy’ mod is using the multiplayer Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Engine so it is a tweaked 2007 Mulitplayer Engine to allow Singleplayer gameplay. You are out of luck I guess.
