So, I've recently bought HL for PC

Hello folks! Many users here know me because I do HL speedruns for the PS2 version of the game… Yesterday I decided to give a shot to the PC version of the game and I bought it on Steam… I wanna ask… Is there a way to uncap the Bhop speed?; One more thing, I would like to know how to create scripts for autojump, duck-roll and gaussboost, can somebody help me in that? (I actually tried to bhop on PC version and seems its working very well and fast :D)…

Final question: Moddb apart, is there a nice site where you can download mods for the game? Thanks

YaLTeR’s tool allow you to uncap bhop speed: https://github.com/YaLTeR/BunnymodXT/wiki/Console-commands-and-variables

But if you want to actually speedrun the game on PC you want to use the WON version from the GoldSrc Package: https://forums.sourceruns.org/index.php?topic=2702.0 which has bhop uncapped by default.

Moddb is the best place for mods as far as I know.

If you need help with setting up the GoldSrc package you can use my part 1 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DQsnVo5A7s

When you got it setup just type this into console; bind “o” “map c1a0;bxt_hud_timer 1;bxt_timer_reset;bxt_timer_start; bxt_timer_autostop 1; bxt_autojump 1; bxt_autojump_prediction 1”

bind “KEY” “+bxt_tas_ducktap” should work for duckrolling aswell.

For the gauss script just put this into ur autoexec.cfg;

alias +tau +attack2
alias -tau “cl_pitchup 180;cl_pitchdown -180;-attack2;wait;cl_pitchup -12;cl_pitchdown 12;wait;cl_pitchup 89.999;cl_pitchdown 89.999”

bind “KEY” “+tau”

Cool, very cool :100: Bunnyhopping is getting better and better, object-boost is very easy and costant (compared to PS2 version) and gauss-boost is funny to do… One more question, is there a way to change the language to italian? (It was in the default Steam version but now not anymore)

Edit: I found it out
