hello,
since valve released portal for free play for this weekend(?) i was wondering if anyone ever thought about running it?
i could imagine loads of shortcuts with the portals.
or am i too late and there is already a portal done quick video out there?

He’s a busy guy. That’s what he’s been saying for awhile now anyway. To think I used to live for the times he uploaded those segments.
I’m getting there. Need to try to redo Chamber 4 with the seam glitch. Chamber 18’s route is already set in stone; I just need to run it. Chamber 19 and up… well, I have Chamber 19 figured out. The rest of the Escape levels are figured out, except for the last one. There is still some debate the easiest way to get inside and have a turret, or have a portal so that I can use a turret for GLaDOS.
Can’t wait.

I’ve calculated that if I am able to shave off 1 min and 9 secs from my original non-oob speedrun in the next 4 maps (ch19, esc00, esc01, esc02), I will be beating the game in under 10 minutes (which was a goal of mine for this speedrun). I am positive I will be doing this with all the OoB routes for the escape levels. I may be able to achieve under 9 minutes now.
Edit: I actually calculated it wrong. It is 1min and 50secs I have to shave off. I think I’ll probably be above 9 minutes then. :-/

What do you think? Any suggestions on logo changes appreciated. It looks better on white, but the background is transparent, so download it and view it normally.

I love it. Though I kinda wish it could have been called “Portal done OoB” but I guess that wouldn’t go so well with that logo. :I
Nevertheless, I giggled when I saw it, and what else could you ask for?
It’a a pretty nice looking logo. Just an idea: Could you make it so that the text goes through the portals instead of behind them? Giving the logo a 3D-effect so to speak, I think it would look cool - and since the player actually goes through the portals in Portal it would be quite appropriate
