Jumping next to a wall with a slight angle, you can get crazy speeds compared to the regular mouse movement based bunnyjumping. I’ll upload a demo in a bit.

Ah, that’s what I thought. But how could it be faster without jumping? :S I recorded a demo anyway, see if we’re talking about the same thing.
Sorry for ever doubting you. Sorry, in my experience of source games I don’t think it’s ever worked like that… I should probably check.

Because if you are the reason that I can’t do it as well as you is because you’re better at timing jump.

Who’s still using AHK. I’ve found portal 2 to be very forgiving on my mouse wheel.
Also I’ve been practising on CSS a lot.
I’m using AHK, haven’t tried it without using it.
I just position myself beside a wall press D (given that the wall is to the right) angle my mouse slightly to the opposite direction and start bunnyjumping. Simple as that!

Yup. It’s pretty much exactly like wallstrafing, only you jump as well.
Someone mentioned on the SDA forums that the topic is massive and they could do with a forum for map by map analysis. Some admin get in there and make a board and get everyone over here! I’m on a phone :<, cannot do it.

I believe I will have to actually help this time. I wanted to help with HL2EP1, but I realized how bad at half-life games I am and decided to silently step away. If you guys are doing a legitimate team project for portal 2, I would absolutely love to try and help =)

Well, someone make a subforum for co-op maybe? And I think we have some good skip finders. Either document what’s been discovered on SDA in it’s own map thread, or find your own stuff.
