How do I use the source unpack?

Okay I downloaded the the source unpack but instead of rar or a zip, I get a .exe file instead. It was the official download link too.

running the .exe file runs the installer

Okay I am running it right now. It says extract to downloads. Do I change the location or something?

You change it to where you want the game files to be. The default is the same folder as the setup is running from.
