How many Daniel’s we got on this forum?? :oMy names Daniel as well, I live in England, am 16, study physics, german, economics and maths and thats all i can be bothered 2 tell u!
^ Hi Daniel! ^btw. I’m Daniel! (not a joke!)I’m Daniel from Sweden and this is my more accurate post about me:I currently study art- design and multimedia-production. I only have this course 1 day per week, so I have a lot of free time but I usually watch television or play games. My favourite game currently is F.E.A.R. Too bad that my graphics-card is getting overheated when I play it :(. I’m interested in getting into the movie-industry, perhaps as a script-writer or even a director.I live outside of Sweden’s second largest city (Gothenburg).I would like to move to the US basically because their movie industry, and because the US seems cool B).Greeting from Sweden!
If you move to the US for the movie industry I hope you like democrats because with the exception of the Govenator that is pretty much all California is, and all the major movie business is done in California. Or you could be like Napolean Dynamite (by the way I did not laugh once during that movie) and film it in Ohio.

Sweden is a country basically ruled by democrats, so I’m already adjusted :)Hmm, choosing between Hollywood/California and Ohio…I’m gonna have to choose California
I wonder if the democrats there hold generally the same views as the democrats here. They teach “government” in high school here, but only the American government. Apparently our tax dollars are too good to be wasted learning about how other countries are run (except to hate communists  )… they could at least tell us what type of government other countries have, such as monarchy or dictatorship, or oligarchy. Oh wait, they went over that for one day, giving us an illegible map with all sorts of symbols and a color key… the map was run off using only black ink.
Well, they do teach those things. I don’t know about you, but I learned about them in high school. Of course, we didn’t learn about how EVERY government is run, but who does?I’m sure there are college classes which would cover these issues, but in high school it’s not an immediate concern that the child learn about every foreign government’s policies
I though German schools are quite bad (and poor), but what I read and see every day what happens in US school’s I’m quite happy being educated here. Go flying Spaghettimonster, go!
At my school they only teach US government unless you take some special elective independent study course which they probably wouldn’t let you because a teacher having only one student is not in the budget. A 1.5 million dollar press box on the other hand…
