ePSXe problems?

So my girlfriend (cliche way to start this) is obsessed with spyro the dragon. its pretty much the only video game she will play. Her playstation shit itself so i decided id just emulate it for her. Only issue is that when i boot up literally any game with ePSXe I get low sound, and only bass. no mid range, and no high range. If anyone out there knows how to fix this id be eternally grateful.

ePSXe is fucking awful and is full of problems.

Use either:
Xebra (HIGHLY recommended)
Mednafen (Also very good but difficult to configure)
PCSX-R (ezpz to use and set up)
PSXFin (overly simple to use but it works)

emulating is obviously something i know nothing about. i cant get xebra to run at all. ._.

Probably because of your ROM file format. Try PCSX-R.

Anyone knows how to create own codes for PS1 games?.. I mean Gameshark codes. I’m using r3000 debugger for viewing the internal memory of the ISO but i don’t know how it works…
