Oh yeah, “startmovie” is for capturing frames… Sorry about that, seems like I’ve forgot everything during the summer.
If you guys need a way of playing Ep1 without buying it then I suggest you try SteamBuster Revolution. Thats what I use anyway…I really want to see HL2:Ep1DQ when it’s done (If its done :S)… I have been trying out a few of the tricks from HL2DQ. It’s so much fun.Keep up the good work and I look foward to seeing this completed.
Ok, I added you to MSN…However with Steam Buster you need to find and download the gcf files. You could get a friends account that has ep1 and get him to let you download it (Thats how I did it). Or if that isn’t an option then some sites have them availiable (Try www.dz-clan.net, they have everything).If worst comes to worst you can sometimes find GCFs using torrents. Some sites are www.torrentspy.com or www.torrentz.com (torrentz kinda sucks though).Once you have the GCFs I can give you the program over MSN. Then you’re set to play HL2:Ep1 
Thats the thing headshothunter, I don’t know which gcf’s I need :SI have legit steam with hl2/dm/css. What gcfs could I just copy over apposed to redownloading?
