56s is a lousy time, the aim is 50 or soor by b5k standards, 45 secs :)I ran the map for an hour now and I dont seem to win that much time at some areas as I wanted, the most annoyinh thing is those damn autosaves that randomly steals my speed.Im at a low 57 now but I can do better, but I think someone with a better computer can beat that time easilly.
I don’t know about 45 seconds, there’s only so much you can do on this map.It’s mostly just making neater turns, even 50s seems a little much, who knows though.
I think its about keeping good speed through the whole of the map. If you got good speed on the “flat” areas you will save a lot of time.Anyway, I will try for 55 seconds or so today and If I make it I will put it online for others to beat

This map is so boring due to the loadpoints. My suggestion is to split it just after the first camp. Because the autosaves slows things down so much (randomly) its not fun to retry and retry this map for hours.What do you others think ?
I havnt had a serious go at this map yet, but to be honest I dont think we should split it. split only when we have to, for instance if there is a hard trick at the beg. and end of the run, so we split after the first trick in order to get a better / more consistent time. thats just my opinion tho.
You should try running the map and after a while realise that its not your fault that you just loose speed for no reason (autosaves). Even though you keep jumping straght forward through the savepoint area you loose a lot of speed randomly. So if you want to make a good time on this map you will have to:1. Have good speed at the beginning (a bit random)2. Make a good run through the tunnels. (Not random)3. Keep the speed in your way out of the tunnel and past the car and boxes (random)4. Make a nice left turn and gain speed uphill (not that random at all)5. Jumping towards the first base. (autosave = random speed loss)6. Jumping through the base smoothly and gain speed uphill. (Not that random aswell)7. Make a right turn into the autosave. (very random, Im lucky not to loose speed).8. Jump past the last base and into the tunnel (not random)Even if you make a lot of (perfect) runs you will probably end up with a bad time anyway because of this autosave thing. I will check if you can somehow jump past the autosave trigger on the right at the last autosave, if that is possible, one segment will be “ok” I think.

I can save seconds per section but Im not sure Im willing to spend that kind of time on this map.Ill wait for b5k’s time, if he doesnt beat it in a couple of days, we can move on.If he beats it in a couple of days, we can move on aswell. (If there isnt any anonymous runner running this map)The main timesaver in this map is not to loose any speed that you dont have to loose because it has so “long” flat areas.The “Back to the future man” says:I did some research on the coast_10 and we will hit 15-16 seconds on that. (14 if we are lucky).Does sprint affect the slowing down when falling towards a wall ? Sprint does affect the slowness of falling. 15-16 seconds? What was my time on that map?
