Since it’s faster than HL2DQ time, I say we should move on.

If it’s faster than HL2DQ then Im happy to move on.

also do you think you could post the link to the demo here? I have noidea how to access your dropbox.

37.6s

Well I mannaged to get 1:30 for segment 2 (same as Hl2DQ) and I think darkevil got 1:30 aswell

Unfourtunatly I sufferd from a demo record bug, when I hit the trigger to load the next map it automaticly saves the demo and starts recording another one. it makes it so I can’t view the time of the demo by typing in “listdemo” so I don’t know how many fractions of a second I have

Anyway If you want to see it heres the Demo . I have the save file to if you need it but it’s playing up and not letting me change the name without stuffing it up.

Im sure we can get bellow 1:30 but it will give you an idea of what you have to do

Extremely nice first segment. I’m happy to move on.

I don’t think we can get any better than 1:30, otherwise HL2DQ would have

Well we teleport barney 3 times in that room where as HL2DQ only teleported him twice… also I land alot closer to the door when I jump out of the window.

I will keep trying over the next couple of days and see if I can get any lower.

Maybe this is faster?

Very nice. Im sure this will put us bellow 1:30

After hundreds of accepts I managed to get 6008 ticks (1:30).

Sub 6000 tick is possible. (5993 tick)

just got 5971 Ticks with a perfect book, bucket and lamp stack to show off to

5971 ticks = around 1:29.31, so about 1 second faster than HL2DQ.

Don’t count the time in ticks! Every client can have different tickrate, so that’s wrong. To see the time of the segment that ends on a changelevel, just type in ‘demoui’ in console and watch the whole demo. It wont show you the time of it, but at the end of the playback you can see the elapsed time by yourself.

Why not use listdemo?

It doesn’t work on a segment that ends on a map change.

Got 1:29 (5971t), same as Matmo.

All our segments ended with 1:30, so ticks would be the next best thing.

I found the ticks to be pretty constant, as opposed to frames

If no one will makes it faster, then we should pick Matmo’s segment, because he did it first :stuck_out_tongue:

I did faster :stuck_out_tongue: (5964t)

I don’t think you should waste time saving a few frames on such a tedious segment. You better move on imo :>
