Aight then. Anyway, it’s so frustrating. I did the drop 6 times in 10 minutes with josh’s save. Did it twice with the crouching problem in 10 minutes with yours, tooley, and now I’ve been trying for 30 minutes without surviving the drop single time. Before seeing your new time I actually considered doing the drop and the first orb jump in one segment cause I’ve been getting it done so frequently with josh’s save :E

Right guys, from everyone (that I know of) that’s been running segment 1, I’ve had a confirmation to move on. So now we’re onto segment 2. Pretty simple really, drop down the elevator and try your best to live. If you feel like it, set the metal up on the edge, but that’s not NECESSARY.Now, I believe that when you load up Typical’s save, you have to grab the metal from the other side of the elevator. Make sure that you walk slightly into the control room to grab it. You’ll see that Alyx just stands there like a bint if you don’t, so you need to move slightly in there to make sure she walks inside. Now as long as you do that, just pelt yourself down the elevator loads of times till you get it right.I personally won’t be running this, as my computer lags as soon as I hit the trigger near the bottom of the elevator, making it almost impossible for me to get it right ¬_¬.We’re aiming for absolutely NO health or armour lost.Good luck guys! 
I have two versions to offer, both with the metal already set up. Couldn’t get a third one ready in time.Number 1 and number 2.The first one was actually a bit faster cause I set up the metal straight away, but it was basically the first time I did the drop with typical’s save so I was a little confused as to where exactly my save & stop button was ;DThe second one is a little slower cause I had to grab the metal a second time. Don’t think it’s that bad though. See for yourself. With a little more time I should be able to get one where I place the metal perfectly and stop immediately cause I now know where I bound the save key to ;>
Both of them are great, and I’d accept either one of them tbh, but if you feel you can do better, I’m all for that
I really don’t understand how you managed to survive the fall in the first one. Number one is great but I don’t think we should use number two simply because it doesn’t look as clean. I’ll vote to move on at any rate. :)Edit: There’s another quote for me I guess.

Watching the demos again I pick number two (or whichever one is the one I do NOT pick up the piece of metal a second time!) and vote to move on! Let’s go!
We’ve looked at the saves and the demos, it turns out that it’s not only necessary to stand on the elevator and make Alyx walk into the room, oyu need to hang around there a tiny bit longer and make sure that the doors close. If they don’t, none of this will work at all. So make sure that the doors close in your demo, else it’s not valid.Sorry guys, but we can’t move on till we have a demo that accommodates this.
There! 8 seconds, metal set up, friggin door started closing before I dropped. I bumped into the opening door, but I’m still faster than on my previous demos considering this is 8s long and I had to wait a year for Alyx and the door. If there still is something fucked up I forfeit cause I don’t think I’ll ever wanna do that drop again 
So now, let’s move on!!!
That demo was probably the best of all the ones you’ve done man. Checked the save, it works perfectly. DEFINITELY vote to move on, to save niklas’ sanity.
