100% Run

ok everybody, I decided the 100% run will use Rofi’s way of escaping the test chamber, but the alien slave used by Spider-Waffle will be kept in. I was trying to go up and stand on the light like rofi did, but I really can’t do it, I was wondering if it was still possible in up-to-date version of the game. I got to the conclusion it isn’t since I am really at the exact same spot as rofi and SW and it looks like I get on top of it but I fall. Please inform me if any of you know if it’s because of newer version.

Lower your FPS and try it again.

it worked, thx alot =D=D=D

Blast Pit 100% completed in 7:16 minutes

Power Up 100% completed in 2:53 minutes

I think this is the best route for Power Up.

Now I guess you have to make surface tension route XD I know you weren’t looking forward to that, I could see you were pretty much avoiding the subject, but take all the time you need we’re not even done with unforseen consequences
I think your surface tension route will be the most useful of them all since it’s super long, so just take your time to get it as optimized as possible, thx

Ok =D Surface Tension is a very long chapter. Now I just planning the best route for that XD
But there isn’t problem with On A Rail? I worked for that…

Right, I forgot about on a rail, the route you’ll come up with will probably be the second most useful (if it’s good) I don’t know how I could forget it =S
I hope you don’t mind if the final run doesn’t include your routes exactly as they are, as optimized as you can make them their still drafts since there may be some possibilities on pc that you couldn’t do, or some items that aren’t on same spots. I personnally think we could shave off about 10 seconds/minute from your videos onto the final run, because bhop is better on pc from what I’ve seen, so I’m really positive about to get it under 2 hours =D

Yeah, I hope you’ll find more tricks and better routes to use XD

I hope too!
To everybody reading this, please vote on the poll above, it has no time limit so the way we share progress will not always be the same, I will change it as soon as an option takes the lead.

Surface Tension 100% done in 13:23 minutes

nice, I expected about 15 minutes, but since you did it in 13:23 and without the use of infinite health door, i think we’ll be able to get it under 10 minutes, the longest chapter of the run

Now there is one last chapter for you to route: On a rail
I think this is the chapter which will have the closest time to a normal run (except anomalous materials) because there are no skips at all in this chapter anyway

Nihilanth please

Thanks, But no routes for Apprehension, Forget about Freeman, Lambda core, ecc.?

Make a route for Nihilanth is the same thing to make a route for black mesa inbound ;D

Aprehension? I thought you already made this one =S
but actually all chapters after the infinite health door would be useless since we can make grenade jumps, and get all the damage we want. Since you can’t use that door making a route with limited hp will be useless. It could be entertaining as a speedrun though

No, It’s soooo different. unlike Inbounds, Nihilanth really does need some careful planning in a 100%, because we would need to get teleported 4 times and clear the rooms every time, and also to make him spawn at least one controller before the fourth time. That is because we can consider that an infinite spawn, so we kill the first one. There are slaves in the water on the floor, and they are pretty hard to see, they’re all black and half underwater. the gman outro could be counted the same as inbounds, maybe that’s what you were talking about?

Make a route for Nihilanth is the same thing to make a route for black mesa inbound ;D
Still, I want to see it.

On Ps2 this chapter is different than PC, the Nihilanth doesn’t teleport you anywhere and the teleport that it throws kill you instantly

omg, then you making a route would be completely useless xD

Yes
[move] :D[/move]

He could still just activate a god mode cheat? That would kinda have the same effect? Not sure if that exists on PS version?
