# Those bots.

The bots always seem to go this subforum. Maybe we should autoban starting threads here with less than 10 posts?

I’m just brainstorming…

What I’ve tried to do is set it so that users with 0 posts can’t create threads, but SMFs permissions are weird and I can’t seem to be able to do that.

Unless I’m missing something obvious.

Well if you can figure out how to stop them making threads it would probably be better if you just deleted their account too.

That way we don’t have random bot accounts without posts.

Yeah, I often go through and delete accounts that haven’t logged in on over X weeks with 0 posts.
