I realized that I have completed very few games in my life. These are the only ones I’ve completed from start to end: Half-Life Half-Life: Opposing Force Half-Life: Blue Shift Half-Life 2 Half-Life 2: Episode One Half-Life 2: Episode Two Portal Elastomania Far Cry Tomb Raider Legend Quake 3 Arena (does it even count?) Have anyone completed fewer games than that? How long is your list? ---

Didn’t you run Condition Zero? I own 122 games on steam alone. I’ve completed: Doom (with Brutal Doom mod) Half Life Half Life: Opposing Force Half Life: Blue Shift Half Life 2 Half Life 2: Episode 1 Half Life 2: Episode 2 Dear Esther (lol) Portal Portal 2 Quake 3 Arena Braid To be fair, you can’t really “complete” a lot of games. Like Civilisation, Team Fortress, etc. I have over 100 hours on Ricochet, so I’ve certainly got my money’s worth even if I never ‘finished’ it. ---

This made me curious how many games I _actually_ finished. Turns out that it is less than i expected. Here a list i made: Steam Games: 63 Games I have never played: 10 (Humble Bundles…) Games I played from beginning to end: 15 Games I did not complete: 20 Games I ‘finished’ but don’t have a real end: 9 Games I ‘not finished’ but don’t have a real end: 9 ---

I decided to go through my Steam games and see what I’ve completed: - Alan Wake - Braid - Dear Esther - Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Half-Life 2 - Half-Life 2: Episode 1 - Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Blue Shift - Opposing Force - Just Cause 2 - L.A. Noire - Left 4 Dead 1+2 - Mirror’s Edge - Portal 1+2 - Quake - Trine 1+2 Halo 1 and 2 would be the only non-Steam games I’ve completed. I guess the list is a bit bigger than yours, bit still not huge. Also note I’ve also never completed Half-Life, the first time I played I could never figure out Nihilanth and every other play through I never got that far - I love the earlier chapters so much more. ---

Erm… Guys, have you seriously never owned a console? Nintendo 64, NES, SNES, PlayStation, fucking Xbox? No console games completed back in the day? Or are we only counting PC games? I’m not even gonna participate in making a list, it would seriously take me hours. ---

Love that thing! Some of the games I competed on it are: Spyro 1, 2, 3 - a lot of times, including 100% for each (that would be 120%, 100% and 117% IIRC) Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - 1, 2 and 3 a lot of times, including 100%s (100%, 100%, 105%) Other games I don’t remember. I have completed some games on my GBA, as well as on my PSP, don’t remember the titles already. Great times. ---

It’s not the completed game count that defines you as a good or bad gamer. It’s just stupid to grade yourself like that. I’ve noticed that I have a hard time playing other games - whenever I try something new, I go back to Half-Life. I’m not sure what’s the reason behind this. To anyone interested, here’s the list of all games (that I remember) I’ve completed [ul][li]Jazz Jackrabbit[/li] [li]Jazz Jackrabbit 2[/li] [li]Triplane Turmoil (all campaigns)[/li] [li]Ignition[/li] [li]Re-Volt[/li] [li]Maniac Mansion Deluxe[/li] [li]5 Days A Stranger[/li] [li]6 Days A Sacrifice[/li] [li]7 Days A Skeptic[/li] [li]Trilby’s Notes[/li][/ul] Modern games: [ul][li]Lego Racers 2[/li] [li]Fatal Frame[/li] [li]Grand Theft Auto 3[/li] [li]Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[/li] [li]Half-Life series[/li] [li]Portal series[/li] [li]Mirror’s Edge[/li] [li]Super Meat Boy[/li] [li]Tomb Raider: Anniversary[/li] [li]Worms Reloaded (I think)[/li][/ul] These are all I remember for now, might be 1 or 2 more games that I’ve completed, but they are hiding deep inside my memory. The list is huge in my opinion, but there’s no way I’m counting myself as a good gamer. ---
